Honesty, patience, expertise, tact, diligence and a true sense of ethics are qualities that best describe Jim Standing.
For over 32 years, Jim has been a prominent figure in the Real Estate world. Jim grew up in the Ottawa area and now resides in Cornwall. Although he has enjoyed a long real estate career, for 14 years he worked as an artisan for Upper Canada Village as the Woolen Mill Interpreter. As a teen he worked on the oil rigs out West.

Even though he is very dedicated to his work, Jim always finds time to volunteer for a variety of good causes in the area. He is a faithful supporter of the Children’s Treatment Center, participating in the Bike-A-Thon every year. He enjoys being the MC for the CLARPIAN-DUO, who preform in Cornwall and the surround-ing area (Arts in the Park etc.)

Jim’s love for real estate also includes owning and renovating his own rental properties. Buyers and Sellers never cease to call upon him for advice, sales and purchases in regard to country, city, commercial, residential, residential and income properties. His dedication to his clients is spurred on by his ability to listen attentively, then guide both buyers and sellers alike. In his spare time Jim enjoys reading, gardening, cycling and home reno-vation projects. Jim loves adventurous car rides with no planned destinations!
